Coron El Nido Expedition is free to read. We pay for the research and writing through affiliate commissions: when you click one of our booking links and complete a booking, the platform may pay us a small share of the sale. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the platform directly.
Who we work with
- GetYourGuide. Most of the Coron–El Nido expeditions and island-hopping tours on this site are sold on GetYourGuide. Links and booking widgets for those listings carry our partner tracking, and GetYourGuide handles the booking, payment, confirmation and cancellations.
- Viator. Some group and private expeditions are sold on Viator. Links to Viator listings carry our partner tracking, and Viator handles the booking, payment, confirmation and cancellations.
- Stay22 and hotel booking sites. Hotel links and maps on our accommodation pages run through Stay22, which passes you to a hotel booking site such as Booking.com. If you book a room, we may earn a commission from that booking.
Operators we cover without a commission
Some of the best-known expedition operators, such as Tao Philippines and Big Dream Boatman, sell only through their own websites. We cover them because a fair comparison needs them. Links to their websites are ordinary links: we earn nothing from them, and we do not present them as booking buttons.
What the commission does and does not change
- It does not change your price. Commissions come out of the platform’s share, not from a surcharge on you.
- It does not decide our picks. We choose and rank expeditions on what they include, what they cost on real dates, their terms and their reviews. Operators cannot pay for placement or for a better review.
- It does not make us the seller. We do not take payment, issue vouchers or operate boats. Your contract is with the booking platform and the operator.
How affiliate links are marked
Links to GetYourGuide, Viator and hotel booking sites are affiliate links. They carry the rel=“sponsored” attribute so search engines can tell them apart from our editorial links, and they open the platform’s own page, where you see the live price for your date before you pay. Links to other pages on this site are ordinary internal links.
